About this event
Get on Track with RTR in 2026!
Registration opens 2/1/26 for the entire RTR track season:
- APRIL 24-25 @ Pocono South/East (note Fri-Sat only)
- JUNE 19-21 @ NJMP Lightning
- JULY 24-26 @ NJMP Thunderbolt
- OCTOBER 2-4 @ Summit Main
About RTR track events:
- We offer five experience-based run groups, plus Intro to DE for first time students:
- Intro to DE: A one-day experience for people who have never been on track! Come see what it's all about without the commitment of a full weekend.
- Green: An instructed run group for drivers with little or no track experience. If you have not done at least 3 weekends at 3 different tracks, this is the run group for you.
- Blue: An instructed run group for drivers with a full season or more of track experience.
- White: For drivers with several seasons of experience. You can choose to have an instructor-mentor assigned to give you pointers on how to continue improving your skills and advancing to black.
- Black: Advanced run group with extended passing permitted. Placement at the discretion of our chief instructors. Includes new (and new-to-us) instructors.
- Red: Advanced run group with extended passing expected. Placement at the discretion of our chief instructors.
How and why to get in touch:

We welcome all PCA national instructors! If you have never instructed with us, please provide your instructor number to registrar@rtr-pca.org before you sign up.
Event requirements
Requirements for participating:
- Eligibility: You must be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license.
- Car:
- You need a passenger car. It doesn’t have to be a Porsche - we welcome all cars and drivers.
- Convertibles with pop-up rollover protection can be used in all run groups at our events at Pocono and Summit Point. (Sorry, pop-up protection is prohibited at NJMP per New Jersey state law.) ALL convertible drivers MUST pass the “broomstick test” and top-down drivers must supply arm restraints for yourself and your instructor.
- Unfortunately, electric cars can only be used at our event at Pocono.
- Macans and Cayennes can be used in Intro to DE only; no other SUVs are allowed in Intro, and no SUVs or trucks are allowed in any other run group.
- Helmet: You must have a Snell SA, SAH or M 2020 or 2025 spec helmet. We recommend full face. (Note: Snell 2015 helmets are allowed through June 30, 2026.)
- Safety inspection: No more than 21 days prior to the event, you must have your car inspected. This can be done at our safety tech event (exact dates TBD but usually the Saturday 2 weeks prior to the event, details will be sent to registered participants) or by any ASE certified mechanic using our tech form. Self-inspection is NOT permitted.
