Penns Woods Winery, Drive and Picnic in the Vineyard , Saturday Oct 22nd.
We'll start with a scenic drive through Southern Chester County's Hunt Country with your host Paula Gavin. Maybe find a few twisty roads in the country to try? (YES) Then enjoy a fall afternoon at Penns Woods Winery in Chadds Ford. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the winery's tastings, wines and beers amidst the Vineyard. Tastings, wines, beers are available for purchase at the winery along with a limited selection of food.
Meet by 10:30 at Dilworthtown Crossing Shopping Center just outside of West Chester (behind Duck Donuts), Wheels up at 11:00 after a brief driver's meeting.
If you'd prefer to purchase a picnic lunch instead of packing one there is a Giant Supermarket at Dilworthtown shopping center and a Wawa next door. Important note, any alcohol must be purchased at the winery, so please do not include in your picnic basket.
