About this event
Welcome to the Porsche Club of America's Werks Reunion Monterey!
Porsche Club of America (PCA) welcomes all Porsche clubs, owners, and enthusiasts to the TWELTH Annual Werks Reunion Monterey on Friday, August 14, 2026. Join us at the Monterey Pines Golf Course to see a breathtaking array of Porsches, from rare to current models, and everything in between!
You are not required to be a PCA member to participate in this celebration of Porsche automobiles. Display your cherished car in model-specific Porsche Corrals, or enter the Porsche Judged Field and compete to win in more than 15 prize categories. Spectators do not need to register.
Porsche owners looking to compete can enter their car in the Judged field. From original to modified outlaws, our goal is a welcoming event that will dazzle competitors and spectators alike. Special, one-of-a-kind trophies will be awarded just for this event. Porsche owners who do not enter the Judged field will have the opportunity to show off their pride and joy in the model-specific Porsche-only Corral.
This year, we will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the introduction of the 924 in 1976, as well as the series of transaxle Porsches. The 924 was both innovative, with the transaxle layout achieving balanced handling, and crowd-pleasing, as the entry-level model made the Porsche brand more accessible to a broader audience.
The Porsche 924 wasn’t even supposed to be a Porsche. Initially developed for Volkswagen under the project name EA 425, Volkswagen scrapped the plan, and Porsche acquired it as an entry-level replacement for the 914 and 912E.
When it hit the U.S., the 924 shocked Porsche purists; it was the brand’s first front-engine, water-cooled transaxle car, and American road testers weren’t kind. However, Porsche continued to refine the formula, and over 152,000 were produced.
By the late ’70s, reviews softened, praising its sharp looks, comfy seats, and road-hugging feel. A Turbo arrived in ’79, but the upcoming 944 stole the spotlight, leaving unsold 924s to linger on lots. The model bowed out in the U.S. in 1982, only to return as the 924 S in 1987 with a Porsche-built 2.5L and a livelier 147 hp.
Today, finding a clean 924 isn’t easy—early cars especially. But those who know, know: the OG 924 may be slower and noisier, yet it’s simpler, easier to maintain, and a true piece of Porsche history.
You are not required to be a PCA member to participate in this celebration of Porsche automobiles, but you must register to secure a spot on the Corral or Judged Fields. Display your cherished car in model-specific Porsche Corrals and show off your pride surrounded by other Porsche enthusiasts! Spectators do not need to register.
Expect a stunning display of 800+ Porsches, dozens of vendors, and the camaraderie of fellow car enthusiasts. The 2026 show will feature the latest Porsches, vehicle presentations, special guests, and usually a surprise or two.
Corral Parking (Porsche Only) early registration is $99 per car and includes a Werks event bag, a reserved parking space, and automatic entry into raffle contests. Please note that after July 17, 2026, Corral Parking increases to $114 per car.

The Porsche Club of America created Werks Reunion as an event to celebrate both the Porsche marque and the camaraderie of being an enthusiast. This is not a contest of who has removed dust from the deepest crevices in their Porsche, but rather a judged show that rewards a Porsche that has been lovingly maintained and presents itself well on the field. Our judges do not use Porsche Parade Concours scoresheets; instead, they rank the cars according to the specific attributes discussed before judging. For those who do not wish to have their cars judged, you may display them in the model-specific corrals or, if the organizers see fit, on the judged field. There are no scoresheets returned or protest committees. This is a casual gathering of Porsche enthusiasts focused on having fun rather than solely on competition.
