ARPCA Columbus Day Driving Tour and Car Show
What's the connection between German engineering and an explorer born in Genoa, Italy, in 1541? The Erdapfel (German for "earth apple") is the oldest surviving terrestrial globe in the world, created by German navigator and geographer Martin Behaim between 1490 and 1492. Behaim worked in Portugal and served King John II, a patron of exploration with links to maritime financiers that funded the Columbus and Cabot expeditions. Details from Columbus's maiden voyage forced cartographers to replace the empty ocean between Europe and Asia, leading to the "Ostrich Egg Globe," widely considered the oldest known globe to depict the Americas.
Join ARPCA to explore our corner of the world. Choose from three options: An all-day driving tour to Kinzua Dam, a half-day driving tour west of Clarion, and/or a car show and dinner at Narcisi Winery. (Both driving tours include the car show and dinner for one.)

Half-Day Drive 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Driver safety meeting - 1:00 pm, First group off at 1:15.
Car Show and Dinner 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm RACE CARS WELCOME! Trailer parking available.
